I will be traveling to Washington DCA in April?
I will depart from Corpus Christi, TX switch planes in Houston, TX (where I have 45 minutes) and finally arrive at my destination. This is my first time flying and just need some peace at mind. In Houston will 45 minutes be enough time to switch planes? When I arrive in Washington I will be picked up, How many levels are at this airport? Which way do I follow? I will be arriving at Regan (National)

1. Yes, 45 min. is BARELY enough time, so don't fart around. Get to your gate right away. 2. You didn't specify if you're landing at Regan (National) or Dulles airport.

There is only one level in DCA (Reagan National), and it's small airport, because its the closest airport to the city center. Yes, 45 minutes is more than enough time. You check your baggage all the way to your final destination so you just disembark one plane, find your new gate, and get on the other one.
